A Case of Malignant Tertian Malaria Treated with Intravenous Quinine

Thk patient, a young and healthy adult of 18 years of age, got an attack of malignant tertian malaria on 14th November 1924 and got well in four days with oral administration of 10 grs. of quinine sulphate three -times a day. He got another attack of malignant tertian malaria on 29th December 1924, with plenty of rings in each field of his blood smear and a few crescents here and there.. The fever remained for about four days and stopped again after the oral administration of quinine sulphate in the same doses. He got a third attack of the same fever on 5th January 1925 from which he recovered in a few days. He got a fourth attack of the same on the 30th
